Terms of Service

Medyssey is an informational and educational tool that helps premedical students organize their journey toward applying to medical school. It offers roadmaps, school information, essay workspaces, recommendations, and an AI assistant called Ask Medyssey. Medyssey is not a substitute for an advisor, counselor, or official admissions guidance.

Medyssey is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the AAMC, AMCAS, AACOMAS, TMDSAS, the MSAR, or any medical school. School names and identifiers are used solely to help you organize your own application. Any trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Medyssey’s recommendations, school “fit” signals, and “likely / match / stretch” labels are educational guidance, not predictions or guarantees. Admission decisions are made by schools using factors outside of what Medyssey can see. Do not rely on Medyssey as the basis for life decisions about where to apply, how to spend money, or whether you will be admitted.

School data, deadlines, requirements, prompts, and other content shown in Medyssey may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for verifying every deadline, requirement, and detail against the school’s official website and the official application services (AMCAS, AACOMAS, TMDSAS) before relying on it.

Medyssey uses third-party AI models to generate suggestions, summaries, essay feedback, and chat responses. AI output can be wrong, biased, or fabricated. It is not professional, medical, legal, or admissions advice. Always review AI suggestions critically and verify any factual claim before acting on it.

You agree not to (a) scrape, resell, or redistribute Medyssey content, (b) reverse-engineer the service, (c) use Medyssey to mislead a school or misrepresent your application, or (d) upload content you do not have the right to share. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for the content you create in Medyssey (notes, essays, school lists). You retain ownership of your own content. By using the service, you grant Medyssey a limited license to store and process that content so we can provide the service to you.

Medyssey is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medyssey and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost opportunities, application outcomes, or missed deadlines.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Medyssey after a change means you accept the updated terms.
