Privacy Policy

• Account information: your name and email address (provided directly or via Google sign-in).
• Profile inputs: the year you’re in, your current stage, optional GPA and MCAT scores, preferred regions, degree preference, and mission/specialty tags.
• Application content: your saved school list, essays, secondary drafts, application notes, and letter-of-recommendation tracking.
• Service usage: basic logs needed to operate the service and prevent abuse.

We do not intentionally collect demographic information. Anything you type into Medyssey (essays, chat, notes) is stored as you wrote it.

To run your account, generate your personalized roadmap, surface school recommendations, save your essays and notes, and improve the product over time.

Your data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our backend provider (Lovable Cloud, which runs on Supabase). Database Row-Level Security is enabled on every user-facing table, so each row is only readable and writable by the account it belongs to. Service-role credentials are never exposed to the browser.

When you use AI features (Ask Medyssey, school recommendations, essay suggestions), the relevant prompt and context are sent to third-party AI providers (including Google and OpenAI) via the Lovable AI Gateway so they can generate a response. Please do not paste anything into Medyssey that you would not want processed by a third-party AI model.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the infrastructure subprocessors needed to run the service (hosting, database, authentication, and the AI gateway described above), and when required by law.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@atlasapp.com. Deletion removes your profile, saved schools, essays, and letter-of-recommendation tracking from our active database. Backups may persist for a short period before being overwritten.

Medyssey uses only the essential storage needed to keep you signed in (authentication tokens). We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will show a cookie notice first.

Medyssey is intended for premedical students and is not designed for children under 13. Do not use Medyssey if you are under 13.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
